Hi, I'm KC Bismire, an Australian debut author writing urban romantasy with a sprinkle of paranormal intrigue and mystery.

Becoming an author wasn't always part of my plan. In fact, my writing journey started almost by accident while studying screenwriting. One of my classes required me to write a short story, and while I enjoyed creating it, I just kind of popped it to the side and forgot about it... apparently for about 10 years it seems... I never imagined it would become something more.

For some reason, last year, it simply wouldn't leave me alone. The characters, the ideas, and the world I had started creating kept growing until I realised there was a much bigger story waiting to be told.

That's when everything clicked and I realised I'm a discovery writer aka a 'panster,' (plotting is not for me). I love following the twists and turns as they appear, getting to know my characters along the way, and seeing where their adventures take them.

My stories combine romance, magic, paranormal elements, and mystery, creating stories where there is always another secret waiting to be uncovered. I love writing characters with chemistry, complicated choices, and adventures that keep the pages turning. (Although, if there's one thing you won't find me enjoying, it's the dreaded miscommunication trope.)

When I'm not writing, you'll usually find me painting, gardening, catching up with friends, or enjoying my favourite writing companion — a vanilla latte. Living in Australia gives me endless inspiration, from quiet moments to the little details that can spark an entirely new story.

My hope is that when readers finish one of my books, they close the cover feeling connected to the characters, satisfied with the journey, and excited for the next adventure.
